Located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in western North Carolina, Mary B. Mullen Bible Camp (MBMBC) has significant historical importance to the African American community in and around Lake Lure. Despite its past as a former plantation, MBMBC holds a special place in the hearts of residents.
